The Installation of Chancellor Howell
On Thursday, Oct. 30, Kevin Howell was formally installed as chancellor of NC State — becoming the 15th person to hold that title since our university was founded in 1887.
NC State is proud to welcome Howell home as one of our own: a dedicated alumnus, a former student body president and the new leader of our Wolfpack.

📌 @ncstatedesign alum and NC State creative director Mark McLawhorn began drawing and illustrating Wolfpack Cartoons as an undergrad at @ncsutechnician. To celebrate 30 years of the series, this season features guests artists.
🎨 This week’s artist, Lucy Osborn, recently graduated from @ncstatedesign and started at @ncsutechnician as a cartoonist before becoming Graphics Editor. Since graduating, Lucy has been working at @lenovo and freelancing.
